I should have chosen PDO Cog Threads  instead. I initially used PCL and PLLA threads , which dissolve much more slowly and resulted in complications: Caused visible rippling  under my skin. Led to the formation of scar tissue . Even 2.5 years later , after weight and facial fat loss, the threads remained rippled and continued causing issues. I consulted a Plastic Surgeon , who: Removed part of the PCL thread  from my cheek. Was unable to fully remove all of it. Using PDO threads  would likely have prevented the development of extensive scar tissue . Recommendation : Use PDO Cog Lifting Threads from Acecosm . Advice : Avoid inserting too many threads in the same area at once . Avoid inserting too many threads into a single pilot hole . NEVER : Use expired Cog threads . They can break during insertion or removal , leading to undesirable results .
