I'm a 59-year-old skincare enthusiast, wife, mother, daughter, aunt, friend — and a former single mom of 20 years. Out of necessity, I learned to do life on a budget. I raised two amazing kids and am now happily married with two bonus daughters, but I've kept that same resourceful mindset.

My Background

I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Fashion. I ended up falling in love with science and spent most of my career in the Biotech Industry. That scientific curiosity is what drives my approach to skincare — I research everything thoroughly before trying it.

Why DIY?

I love to research, and I believe that as long as I do my own due diligence and feel comfortable with a procedure, why not? I can save thousands of dollars — and I want to share everything I learn with you.
