IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
I was inexperienced with Cog Lifting Threads at the time.
I should have chosen PDO Cog Threads instead.
I initially used PCL and PLLA threads, which dissolve much more slowly and resulted in complications:
Caused visible rippling under my skin.
Led to the formation of scar tissue.
Even 2.5 years later, after weight and facial fat loss, the threads remained rippled and continued causing issues.
I consulted a Plastic Surgeon, who:
Removed part of the PCL thread from my cheek.
Was unable to fully remove all of it.
Using PDO threads would likely have prevented the development of extensive scar tissue.
Recommendation: Use PDO Cog Lifting Threads from Acecosm.
Advice:
Avoid inserting too many threads in the same area at once.
Avoid inserting too many threads into a single pilot hole.
NEVER: Use expired Cog threads. They can break during insertion or removal, leading to undesirable results.
